Update Virus Scanning Software. It is recommended that you have it set to check when you sign on to the Internet. If you have an “always on” service you should set it to check at a specific time when you probably will not be using your computer.

Quarterly/Semiannually

Clean inside of CPU Case

Clean Keyboard

Clean exterior of Monitor and CPU Case, printer and scanner

Cleaning Supplies

Phillips Screw drivers (small tip and medium tip)

Cans of compressed air with tubes

Cotton tip Swabs

Cotton Cloths (as lint free as possible) or paper towels

Glass Cleaner in spray bottle

Household Cleaner

Isopropyl rubbing alcohol

Assorted soft bristle brushes

Toothbrush (old)

Antistatic wristband
